Jon Stewart has definitely acted in an admirable way and in the public interest with his support of first responders. Other Hollywood/media types have done similar things with their causes by Stewart’s actions are truly selfless. The fact that Congress needs to be embarrassed to do what they should do as a matter of course is shameful.
