My good friend at Get Aktiv has a long, well written article going into considerable depth about a particular business. I would like you to read it. I am trying to work out in my mind how businesses are likely to change over the next twenty years. I think he is discussing a movement with great potential for changing the way we think about business and, in particular, corporations.

  1. Thanks, James, for highlighting my post – much appreciated. The challenges of making Fairtrade truly sustainable are indeed complex, and our commitment as consumers to assisting the poor does truly seem to be little more than skin deep – if it’s going to cost us a little extra, we usually baulk. There was so much that I discussed with Kym which I couldn’t include in the post, but I hope at the very least that anybody with an active interest in fairtrade products and business will find some of the points good food for thought.
